Which translation options are available?

You can upload Punjabi to English, English to Punjabi, Hindi to English, and English to Hindi PDF documents.

Use the option that matches the main language in your PDF. Each translation order accepts one PDF file.

What does PDF to Word do?

PDF to Word converts a scanned PDF into an editable Word document without changing the language.

Use it when you do not need translation and only need an editable document.

Limits And Workarounds

Prepare files before upload to avoid size or page errors.

What are the upload limits?

Translation accepts one PDF up to 25 pages and 20 MB.

PDF to Word accepts one PDF up to 100 pages and 40 MB.

Only PDF files are accepted.

What if my PDF has more pages than allowed?

Split the PDF into smaller parts and upload each part separately.

Use 25 pages or fewer for each translation upload, and 100 pages or fewer for each PDF to Word upload.

What if my PDF file size is above the limit?

Compress the PDF and upload the smaller file again.

Keep translation PDFs at 20 MB or less. Keep PDF to Word uploads at 40 MB or less.

How can I improve scan quality?

Use a clear, straight, bright scan with all text inside the page edges.

Avoid shadows, blur, low contrast, heavy stamps, watermarks across text, cropped pages, and strong rotation.

Printed documents usually work better than handwritten pages.

PDF workarounds

Use these only when you need to split a long PDF or compress a large PDF before uploading again.

iLovePDF is a third-party website. AskTranslator and Xieta AI do not control their service, and you should use it at your own risk.

Quality Report

The app warns you before payment when pages need care.

What happens after I upload a PDF?

The PDF is analysed for page count, file validity, security, readability, layout, and OCR quality.

If some pages have quality concerns, the app shows a page-by-page report before you continue.

What should I do with the quality guidance?

Use the report as a checklist for manual verification after translation or conversion.

Pages marked for review may still be processed, but you should check them carefully in the final document.

Coupons, Payment, And Delivery

Review the quote before processing starts.

When do I pay?

After analysis, the quote page shows page count, available coupons, discount, and final total.

You can apply one available coupon, then continue to secure checkout. If a coupon covers the full amount, processing can start without a separate payment.

How do I know when my document is ready?

After successful payment, the document starts processing.

When processing is complete, an email and SMS are sent to your registered contact details.

The final file can be downloaded from My Documents.

My Documents, Support, And Refunds

Track, download, compare, and request help.

What can I do in My Documents?

You can view active documents, failed documents, and pending payments.

Completed jobs allow you to download the processed file, download the original file, view payment details, rate the result, and create or view a support request.

On desktop, the Compare option opens the source PDF and processed Word document side by side.

How do support tickets and refunds work?

For a completed or delivered document, use Create Support Request from the document card. If a request already exists, use View Support Status to see the conversation.

If processing fails or takes longer than expected and is marked failed, the document card states that the refund will be automatically issued.

For payment issues, use Payment Details or Verify Payment from My Documents when those buttons are shown.

Document Privacy And Private Mode

How Private Mode, automatic detection, and Auto-Delete Mode handle sensitive documents.

What is Private Mode when I upload a document?

Private Mode is an optional privacy choice offered before every upload. You can turn it on for a single document right after you select it.

When Private Mode is on, that document and its translation or converted file get extra privacy handling and are automatically deleted from our systems within 72 hours after processing.

It is optional. Whether or not you turn it on, your documents are always handled securely.

What happens to a document deleted under Private Mode?

The original document and its processed output are permanently deleted within 72 hours after processing.

Once deleted, they cannot be recovered or restored, and our support team cannot assist with them afterwards.

Download and save your file soon after it is ready, because reduced history can make any later issue harder to review.

What is Auto-Delete Mode in my profile?

Auto-Delete Mode is an account setting intended for highly sensitive material. When it is on, Private Mode is automatically applied to every document you upload from then on.

It applies only to future uploads. Documents you have already processed are not affected.

You can turn Auto-Delete Mode on or off at any time from your profile settings.

Does AskTranslator detect sensitive documents automatically?

Yes. Even if you do not turn on Private Mode, every upload is automatically checked for sensitive content, and appropriate privacy handling is applied when it is needed.

For full control, you can turn on Private Mode for a single upload, or enable Auto-Delete Mode for your whole account.

Important Limitations

AI output must be reviewed before important use.

Can I use the output without checking it?

No. Translation and OCR are AI-assisted and may contain errors, omissions, formatting differences, or unintended meanings.

You are responsible for manually verifying the final document before relying on it for official, legal, financial, medical, or other important purposes.

Which documents may be less accurate?

Handwriting, blurry scans, faint photocopies, shadows, rotated or cropped pages, non-text images, maps, diagrams, heavy stamps, and watermarks can reduce accuracy.

If the source is unclear, upload a better scan when possible.
